Doree Dump – software, hardware, and more to ignore

Since being acquired by the gang at Techcrunch, InviteShare.com appears to have gone dramatically downhill. Recently I tried to log in and was told that my login information was invalid. So, I tried the usual ‘forgot password’ link. The email that was sent to me was terribly formatted; all HTML tags were plainly visible and as a result it was close to unreadable.

I grabbed the link out of the email and pasted it into my address bar. I was then taken to an InviteShare page that simply asked for my username only. What do you think happens after I enter my username? The username it actually uses in the email it sent out to me. Well, the site  tells me that my login info is invalid! I wasn’t even given the opportunity to set a new password. The resulting page asks for my username and password again and continues to tell me my login info is invalid.

So, I decide to contact them in order to let them know about the problem. I click on the Contact Us link and I’m presented with a page that says … wait for it … ‘You must be logged in to contact us’. WTF?!

Is this site even functional anymore? Did I miss the post on Techcrunch that it had entered the deadpool?

What frustration. I dread even considering trying again. InviteShare is now in my Dreadpool.
